UK's Starmer Unveils £300 Billion Defence Strategy

Outgoing British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has announced a significant defence investment strategy, proposing a budget of nearly 300 billion pounds over the next four years. This plan emerges amidst growing security threats and geopolitical tensions, particularly with Russia. Starmer, facing impending departure after losing party support, unveiled this strategic plan which seeks to boost the UK's defence budget by an additional 15 billion pounds.

The proposed allocation includes over 5 billion pounds earmarked for advancements in drones and autonomous systems.
