Regional Powers Condemn Israeli Violations in Gaza

Eight countries have issued a forceful denunciation of ongoing Israeli violations in the Gaza Strip, highlighting increasing tensions in the region. The foreign ministers of the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Jordan, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkiye, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt have collectively condemned attacks on healthcare facilities and civilian areas, asserting these actions as grave breaches of international humanitarian law.

The joint statement underscores the dire situation facing Gaza's healthcare infrastructure. It demands the immediate protection of hospitals and unhindered delivery of medical aid, a crucial legal obligation amidst ongoing conflict. This comes amid a critical shortage of medical supplies in Gaza, where only half of the enclave's hospitals remain functional.
